In honour of the spookiest month of the year, I thought I'd share a list of the scariest 😱 things I see on social media.
👻 Not responding to comments or DMs. Oof, nothing worse than posting and ghosting. It's important to respond to the good, bad or ugly. Don't leave people on "READ." Hate doing your own engagement, give me a call!
👻 Sharing another account's content without tagging the original creator. This is just bad business and has happened to me. Is it flattering? Not reallllly. If you want to share content from another account, @ the original creator.
👻 Posting political views from your biz account. Your audience follows you to learn and understand the services or products you offer. They don't want to know your thoughts on politics.
👻 Joining a follower loop in an attempt to gain more followers. If one of these requests hits your inbox, ruuuuun!
👻 Buying followers. This will murder 🔪your account! It's better to have a few followers who engage with your content than many who won't.
